Hydrogen peroxide has a whole bunch of uses around the house. Surprisingly enough for a single substance, you can use it for cleaning the kitchen as well as for cleaning your skin. To clean your humidifier from the inside out, make a combination of one pint hydrogen peroxide to one gallon of water, and pour it in.

8. Clean makeup brushes
