This post was created in partnership with Everclear® Grain Alcohol. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I look forward to baking fall recipes all year long. Something about the way that warm spices like cinnamon, nutmeg and clove fill my entire home as I bake my favorite recipes is just so comforting!
But let’s face it, I don’t have as much time to bake as I’d like—and most weeks, the closest thing I get to a homemade fall treat is the pumpkin spice latte I grab while running errands. Luckily, it’s really easy to fill your house with the scent of your favorite fall treats without even preheating the oven!
DIY reed diffusers are a great way to add a lovely custom scent to your space. All you need is Everclear® Grain Alcohol, water and a blend of essential oils—and a glass bottle and wooden reeds or skewers—and you’re well on your way to creating a simple natural alternative to store-bought reed diffusers.
Everclear is key to this recipe because it serves as the binding agent that helps the essential oils adhere to the water. And in case you’re wondering: once you add the essential oils to your diffuser blend, you can’t really smell the alcohol anymore.

- Gingersnap Cookies
