Ahh, iced coffee. It’s quickly becoming a warm weather afternoon staple. And here’s a fun little idea – make ice cubes with your favorite creamer. No more watered down coffee!
Star-shaped French vanilla ice cubes
In a fit of decluttering I threw out my ice cube trays (their main use had been baby food making and I was enormously glad to see that job end) so I used a festive star-shaped tray that I picked up who knows where. Add 1 drop of red or blue food coloring to each cube for patriotic bonus points.
The cubes melt fast! The ice ‘flakes’ a bit and then quickly dissolves into the coffee. Which is a good thing, because sugar-free French Vanilla ice cubes are pretty much the best part of the afternoon ritual. But if creamer isn’t your thing, try making frozen coffee cubes with leftover coffee!
How do you enjoy your iced coffee?
