Let’s face it: being a girl on a budget isn’t easy. We all want to look fashionable without spending an arm or leg. Part of the battle is finding items which still look chic on the cheap. Every few seasons, Old Navy just nails it. A few of their latest releases {shown below–all for under $30!} are prime examples…
Worn alone in the waning summer heat or paired with a blazer in the fall breeze, these six tops are sure to brighten up your wardrobe without draining your bank account. Sometimes being a girl on a budget pays off! xo Alison

way to go Old Navy! These do look like some great pieces. I’ll have to do some online shopping ;)
Old Navy has definitely started getting more fashion forward again with their styles. I also like some of their basic, classic pieces that work well with layering
There was a stretch of time when I stopped shopping at ON because I was really disappointed in their offerings, but lately I find so many cute things there. And I love that they fit into my budget too!
Old Navy stepped up their game this season, I must say. Glad I’m not alone in that sentiment, Nicol + Regina :) Thanks again for having me, Stephanie! xoxo {av} | {long distance loving}
I have the pink top in bright green. It’s been my favourite summer blouse.
I LOVE Old Navy!! It’s seriously my go-to for finding inexpensive pieces that can easily be mixed and matched. I recently bought two pairs of the Rock Star collection skinny jeans. One in regular blue denim, the other in a GORGEOUS shade of mint. Both hot! Both on clearance! Yee-haw!! And I love the way they fit!
I tried on the plaid shirt, I didn’t like the way it fit me. I love that polka dot shirt though. It would be great by itself or under a cardi for fall. That pink and navy striped shirt is super cute. But I’m trying not to buy shirts with rolled sleeves and buttons on the sleeves. They end up annoying me later. But I’m always drawn to them and well… I might have to make an exception. ;)
