This eyeglass lens cleaner is simple to make and calls for inexpensive ingredients you likely already have on hand.
Author: Stephanie Gerber
- 3 parts isopropyl alcohol
- 1 part water (distilled or filtered is preferred)
- 1–2 drops dish soap
Combine all of your ingredients in the small spray bottle.
Spray it onto your microfiber cloth, then use the damp cloth to wipe away smudges from your eyeglass lenses. Do not spray directly onto lenses.
To avoid scratching lenses, make sure to blow any debris or dirt off them prior to cleaning, and use a clean microfiber cloth to wipe lenses.
To make this DIY eyeglass cleaner, use a gentle dish soap that is free of any added lotions or moisturizers.
