DIY Lemon Basil Glass Cleaner with Everclear®
Cleaning glass surfaces and windows is an easy way to make your house shine, which makes this DIY Lemon Basil Glass Cleaner featuring Everclear® the perfect addition to your cleaning routine.

Equipment
- 16-ounce glass spray bottle
- Funnel (optional)
Materials
- ¾ cup Everclear Grain Alcohol
- 3 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 3 drops dish soap
- 5 drops essential oil (3 drops lemon and 2 basil)
- ½ teaspoon cornstarch (optional)
Instructions
- Pour Everclear, white vinegar and water into glass spray bottle using a funnel if available. If you don’t have a funnel, you can pour directly from measuring cup.
- Add drops of dish soap and both essential oils directly to spray bottle, then add cornstarch (if using in the recipe).
- Shake spray bottle well to incorporate all ingredients.
- Spray directly on windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces and wipe clean.
- Store out of direct sunlight.
Notes
Over time, the cornstarch used in this recipe may start to settle at the bottom of the spray bottle. If you opt to include cornstarch in your spray, remember to shake the bottle well prior to each use.
