  • Using a double boiler on low heat, melt the cocoa butter, coconut oil, and beeswax together.

  • Remove from the heat and stir in the cocoa powder, cornstarch, and cinnamon.
  • Pour the melted butter into a mold, muffin tin, or even an ice cube tray.
  • Let the mixture cool until hardened.
  • Pop out the bars and store them in a tin or jar.
  • These should last 6 months to 1 year without the need for refrigeration.

Notes

To infuse the coconut oil, I followed the same technique as with this Nutty Coffee Body Oil, using 1 cup coconut oil and about ¼ to ½ cup fresh ground coffee. Instead of almond oil, I used coconut oil here because it’s awesome for stretch marks. Just be sure to strain the oil through cheesecloth while it’s still warm and liquid to remove all of the coffee grounds.
