Ingredients
Beet Carrot Pineapple Orange Juice
1large or 2 small beets,peeled
4large carrots
½pineapple(do not remove core)
2medium oranges,peeled and seeds removed
Minty Cucumber Melon Juice
½medium cantalouperind and seeds removed
1large English cucumberpeeled if waxed
1large bunch fresh spinachabout 4–5 cups, stems included
1small bunch fresh mintleaves and tender stems
2limesrind removed
Mean Green Juice
6–8 kale leaveswashed well and end of stems trimmed
4celery stalks
2green applespeeled if waxed
1lemonseeds and rind removed
3–4 inches fresh gingerpeeled
Instructions
Juice all ingredients according to manufacturer directions. Serve immediately. Makes about 25–30 ounces.
Notes
Some juicers can’t handle big pieces of fruit or veggies, so it becomes necessary to chop the vegetables before juicing, which will add a bit to the prep time.
