Equipment

  • Double boiler
  • 6-ounce jar with lid

Materials

Instructions

  • First, place the shea butter in a heat safe glass or jar inside a pan with water, or inside a double boiler. Melt the shea butter and then turn heat off.
  • Slowly pour in the jojoba oil and sea buckthorn oil and mix. Allow to cool 5-10 minutes and then add the chamomile drops, mix again.
  • You can allow it to slowly harden if your kitchen is cool enough, or you can place in the fridge.

Notes

It should stay solid even when you remove from fridge, the only exception I have found is if this is made in the hot summer months and it doesn’t quite solidify well the initial time it is made. If that is the case, feel free to keep it in the fridge to keep it solid.
Always apply moisturizers to clean skin both day and night.
