Materials
Peppermint Latte Sugar Scrub
- 1 cup white sugar
- ¼ cup coffee finely ground
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 15 drops peppermint essential oil
- ½ cup fractionated coconut oil can substitute almond or jojoba oil
Mulling Spice Sugar Scrub
- 1 cup white sugar
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 15 drops sweet orange essential oil
- ½ cup jojoba oil or any other carrier oil of your choice
Gingerbread Cookie Sugar Scrub
- 1 cup turbinado sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon each dried ginger, nutmeg, and allspice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup sweet almond oil or any other carrier oil of your choice
Instructions
- Combine ingredients in a small bowl and stir well.
- Transfer to an 8-ounce glass jar with lid. Store any leftover scrub in the refrigerator for up to two months.
Notes
These sugar scrubs make the best holiday gifts. To make things easy, double or triple the recipe and divide the scrub among several 8-ounce jars. Secure the lid and tie with festive string and a gift tag. Give alone or as a 3-piece set.
