Instructions

Edible Pumpkin Lip Scrub

  • Combine ingredients together in a small bowl and transfer to a covered jar or container.  I’ve even reused clean Lush lip scrub containers—they’re the perfect size! This makes more than you need for a single use so keep the extra in a cool, dry spot or give to friends (they’ll love you).

Pumpkin Pie Lip Balm

  • In a double boiler combine the almond oil and beeswax until melted together.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the honey and pumpkin pie spice. Make sure to blend it in thoroughly—you want that pumpkin spice to be evenly mixed in to the balm, not in lumpy chunks.
  • Once mixed, carefully pour the mixture into a lip balm container. Let it harden and cool.

Notes

Apply scrub to lips with your finger and gently rub back and forth. Finish with an application of pumpkin pie lip balm. This combination of super hydrating scrub and moisture makes sure that you get every single dry skin flake off, while nourishing the new skin underneath to stop any more flaking from happening.
Honey has a tendency to separate and settle to the bottom of the container after a while. It helps if you let the melted oils cool to just barely room temperature before adding the honey.
