Materials

  • 1 tablespoon matcha powder (You can use any other loose green tea you like. Just make sure to turn it into a powder using a coffee grinder beforehand.)
  • 1 tablespoon Aura Cacia Tamanu Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Aura Cacia Carrot Seed Oil
  • 3 drops Aura Cacia Roman Chamomile Essential Oil
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened yogurt

Instructions

  • Combine ingredients in a small bowl.

  • Part hair and apply mask directly to the scalp, using your fingers to work it into the skin.
  • Let sit for 15 minutes and then wash hair twice to remove the oil. (I also use a sprinkle of baking soda to get any lingering residue out of my fine hair, but that’s optional.)

Notes

Instead of matcha powder, you can use any other loose green tea for this recipe as long as you turn it into a powder using a coffee grinder beforehand. If necessary after washing hair, you can use a sprinkle of baking soda to get rid of any lingering residue.
