Moisturizing Homemade Shaving Cream with Aloe
Coconut oil, aloe, honey, and a blend of essential oils combine to create a moisturizing homemade shaving cream that will banish unsightly bumps and razor burn.

- ½ cup coconut oil
- ¼ cup honey raw
- ¼ cup castile soap
- 2 tablespoons aloe vera fresh or store bought
- 10 drops lavender essential oil
- 10 drops tea tree essential oil
In a small bowl, use an electric mixer to whip the coconut oil until it's fluffy and smooth
With your mixer on low, whip in the remaining ingredients until blended
Store in a plastic container in the shower
If using fresh aloe vera gel, store your shaving cream in the refrigerator and use within a week.
Otherwise, your shaving cream should keep at room temperature for up to a month. If you’re worried about it going bad before you have had a chance to use it, try making smaller batches or storing it in the refrigerator in between uses.
