Spicy Mixed Greens Smoothie

Mixed greens and avocado mellow out this cayenne-and-ginger concoction
Servings: 1 -2 smoothies

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup dairy free milk
  • 1 cup mixed greens
  • ¼ cup berries fresh or frozen
  • ½ avocado
  • 1 tablespoon peeled ginger root
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey or stevia optional
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
  • Dash cayenne pepper
  • Juice from 1 lemon

Instructions

  • Put all ingredients in blender and mix until smooth. You could also leave the cayenne out and sprinkle it on top for garnish.
