Rosemary-Infused Dish Soap

  • Boil the water and pour over the dried herbs. Cover and let steep for several hours. Remove the rosemary from the water. Strain if using dried herbs.
  • Dissolve the super washing soda, if using, in the warm rosemary-infused water.
  • Add the castile soap, aloe, glycerine, olive oil, and essential oils.
  • Transfer to a glass bottle.
  • If washing soda was used, the soap will start to thicken as it cools, and even more so the next day. Otherwise, the liquid is fairly runny.

Notes

Make this in small batches because it won't last forever.
This dish soap is really concentrated. A few drops is plenty for a quick wash up with a sponge. Fill up one side of the sink with hot water and add 1-2 teaspoons of the herb-infused soap. You'll be amazed that's all you need to do the job.
