Ginger-Turmeric "Tea"

An anti-inflammatory tea that also adds lemon for a boost of vitamin C.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces comfortably hot water
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 to 2- inch piece fresh ginger grated
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • Pinch ground cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • Combine in a glass. Let steep for a minute or two, then sip.
