DIY Mint Chocolate Lip Balm

Treat your lips to a moisturizing and delicious lip balm that tastes like chocolate.

  • In a double boiler, combine cocoa butter, shea butter, carrier oil, and beeswax. Heat gently, stirring occasionally, until fully melted.
  • Once melted, add the chocolate chips or grated chocolate. Stir until completely dissolved and smooth.
  • Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool slightly. Stir in vitamin E oil.
  • Once the mixture has cooled a little more (but is still liquid), add 1–2 drops of peppermint essential oil. Mix well.
  • Carefully pour the mixture into small tins or lip balm containers. Allow to cool and solidify completely (about 1–2 hours).
  • Seal the tins, label them if desired, and enjoy your mint chocolate lip balm whenever your lips need a treat.
